About Merlin
Merlin is a big-hearted, goofy Shepherd mix puppy with lots of personality and plenty of energy. At about 6 and a half months old, Merlin is crate trained and keeps his space tidy, though he still needs some consistency to nail down potty training fully. He already knows several commands, thanks to being very food motivated, and he walks well on a leash—always ready for a stroll or a romp in the yard. Social and outgoing, Merlin adores children and happily greets every person he meets. He gets along well with other friendly dogs and puppies, especially when introduced properly. He loves to play, cuddle, and shower his people with kisses. Toys, naps, and a good belly rub are always high on his list. Like many puppies, Merlin can get overly excited and occasionally nips when playful, but this is manageable with regular structure and training. He shows some interest in chasing wildlife outdoors, which is typical for his age and breed mix, but his response with cats is still unknown. Overall, Merlin is a sweet, clever pup who will thrive with patient, positive guidance and plenty of love. He’s ready for a family who will keep up with his playful spirit and help him grow into a loving adult dog. Click apply to start the adoption process.
