Age: 6½ months (as of May 1, 3026. Breed: Shepherd mix Personality: Sweet, social, playful Merlin is an adorable Shepherd mix pup with big paws and an even bigger heart. He’s crate trained, keeps his kennel clean, and is making good progress with potty training—just needs continued consistency. He already knows several commands and is very food motivated. Merlin absolutely loves kids and happily greets everyone he meets. He does great with other dogs and puppies when introduced properly and enjoys playing with them. His behavior with cats is unknown, though he does show interest in chasing small wildlife like squirrels and birds. He walks nicely on a leash, handles bath time well, and enjoys toys, naps, cuddles, and giving kisses. Like many puppies, he may get overly excited and nip when he wants to play, but this is manageable with structure and consistent training. Why he’s wonderful: Merlin is a smart, loving, playful puppy who will thrive in a loving home. Anyone would be lucky to have him as part of their family.
