About Louie
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Louie, a gentle and sweet boy who just needed a little time and patience to truly shine. Louie came from a challenging background, having lived in a hoarding situation with other cats affected by ringworm. Although he is currently symptom-free, it's wise for new adopters to be a bit cautious as Louie transitions into his new home. Recently adopted and returned less than two days later, Louie simply needed more time to adjust than his previous adopters were prepared to give. Remarkably, when he returned, he immediately showed his affectionate side—greeting visitors at his kennel, rubbing against the door for attention, and soaking up as many pets as he could get. While Louie may still need a brief moment to take in new surroundings, his affectionate and curious personality quickly shines once he feels safe. He explores softly, checks in with his humans, and shares adorable little meows as he builds trust. Louie would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands the importance of allowing cats time to decompress and adapt. With love and consistency, Louie will blossom into a loyal companion who forms a deep bond with his person. Fun fact: Louie’s birthday makes him an Aries, so he’s got a dash of that adventurous, spirited energy! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
