Rocket came to the shelter in bad shape, bravely rescued right before things took a turn for the worse. An untreated abscess led to sepsis, and it was touch-and-go for a while. It took months for Rocket to bounce back, but now he’s healthy again and ready for his permanent home. Rocket is a medium-sized gray tabby with a short coat. He’s friendly and does well with other cats, and would probably be comfortable with older kids. Dogs, on the other hand, are a hard no for Rocket—he needs a canine-free household. He’s neutered, house trained, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, and he’s feline leukemia/FIV positive.
