Betty is a fun-loving, friendly, and playful beagle with medium to high energy. She’s excitable and talkative, often jumping when she’s happy, and while she can play a bit rough, she responds well to gentle corrections. She’d thrive with another dog who can guide her. This sweet lover of chew toys is affectionate, snuggly, and full of personality! A retired research beagle, Betty has spent the past several weeks in the Veterinary & Animal Science programs at Holyoke Community College, helping students learn the skills needed for careers as veterinary professionals. She’ll be ready to head to her forever home on May 9.
