This is Archie, a 4-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix with a golden coat and a resilient spirit. Life hasn't always been kind to Archie—after losing his first owner and being left on his own outside, he ended up with a severe skin infection from wearing a torn sweater for a year. While his hair may never fully grow back, his skin is now healthy, and it doesn't take away from his charm. Archie is laid-back and gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He's transitioned smoothly to living indoors, is house trained and crate trained, though he'll sometimes make it known when the crate isn’t his first choice. He adores toys and relaxing in a soft bed. His hair loss doesn’t change how lovable he is or the affection he brings.
