About Billywig
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Billywig, an affectionate and energetic guy bursting with potential and a zest for life! At 3 years and 7 months old and weighing 42 pounds, Billywig is always ready for action, showcasing enthusiasm and curiosity as soon as he leaves his kennel. He’s excited to explore and eager for new adventures. Billywig does pull on the leash and will need ongoing guidance with his leash manners, but his moderate size makes him easy to handle, and he responds well to calm correction. When passing other dogs, he’s visibly excited and pulls to greet them—his loose body language and wagging tail show it’s all in friendly spirit. Car rides are always an adventure for Billywig, though they can make him anxious. He may bark, whine, and try to move up front, so a secure, sturdy tether is important for his safety. With consistent exposure and patience, he continues to learn how to settle and grow more confident during trips. Billywig positively shines in public. He’s friendly and social, greeting people with a wagging tail and doing especially well when meeting children. In structured environments, he displays good manners—settling when needed, walking more calmly, and even sitting patiently while waiting. He already knows "sit," enjoys gentle treats, and absolutely loves connecting with his humans. While he can be selective with treats, Billywig values affection and looks forward to bonding with his people. This athletic pup can climb a 6-foot chain link fence, so he needs a home with a privacy fence or always-supervised outdoor time. Billywig is truly loving and playful and just needs a patient, understanding home to help him flourish and feel secure. With guidance and structure, Billywig is sure to become a loyal and devoted companion. Remember, it’s always encouraged to bring your resident dog for a meeting to ensure the best match. Proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations is required for dog-to-dog introductions. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
