Joey is a 10 year old Chihuahua mix looking for a home. His owner died, leaving behind 3 terrified Chihuahuas. There was no family to take them in sadly. He's starting to come around to us. It turns out he's just a sensitive little senior guy who just wants to feel safe again. We’re seeing huge improvements in his personality, but he still desperately needs a home to continue healing. He barks when new people enter the room, but now he greets us with enthusiastic curiosity. He doesn’t deserve to spend his final years here. He is all bark, no bite. He needs a calm home, patience, and someone willing to let him move at his own pace. Someone with a secure fenced yard, or willing to let him use pads.
