About Bear
Bear has a big name, but he’s actually a gentle, sensitive soul just looking for a person he can genuinely trust. He takes a little time to warm up—especially around men—but once he feels at ease, his affectionate side comes through in small, heartfelt gestures. He’s done well with both dogs and cats, so he can easily share a home with other pets. Leash walks are no problem for Bear, and once he’s comfortable, he has the endearing habit of jumping up to be cradled like a baby. Toys haven’t won him over yet, but Bear can’t resist his favorite treats, a bone, or a good game of fetch. He’s attentive, motivated by food, and eager to build a strong connection with his person. Bear needs a patient adopter who’s willing to give him space and steady encouragement as he comes out of his shell. Once he trusts you, Bear will be your shadow—a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be near. (And as a Pisces born on February 27, Bear might be extra sensitive and in tune with your feelings.) They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
