About Polo

🐾 Meet Polo - Our Wobbly, Wonderful Boy 💙 Polo's journey hasn't been easy, but his spirit? Completely unshakable. He came to us as a malnourished, heartworm-positive stray facing more challenges than any dog should. Fast forward through months of care, treatment, and love--and today, Polo is ready for the one thing he's been waiting for all along: a forever home. Polo has a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which simply means he's a little "wobbly" on his feet. You'll see him bounce, wiggle, and high-step as he walks--but what you won't see is any lack of joy. Polo doesn't know he's different, and honestly, that's part of what makes him so special. 💙 What makes Polo amazing: * Sweet, happy, and full of personality * Loves human connection and companionship * Mentally sharp and eager to engage * A true survivor with a heart of gold 🏡 What Polo needs: * A calm home (no small children, please) * A safe environment with minimal stairs * Non-slip rugs or surfaces to help him get around * A patient, loving human who sees his ability--not his limitations Dogs with CH live long, happy, and pain-free lives. They just need a little extra support--and in return, they give a whole lot of love. Polo has already fought so hard for his second chance. Now he just needs someone to believe in him. ✨ Could that be you? Interested in meeting this very good boy? Please read the following information.
