About Rooster
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Rooster, affectionately called Roo, is a delightful 1-2 year old cat brimming with personality. You'll constantly find yourself amused and entertained, wondering, "what is he doing now?" From serenading you with his unique songs reminiscent of his namesake, to rolling around on the floor, Rooster is a true goofball. Despite a background of possible abandonment and mange, he’s managed to keep his spirit light and playful. While Rooster is initially very shy and a bit wary of close contact, a little patience goes a long way. Typically, after about a week, he transforms into an adventurous companion, eager to explore every inch of your home and make it his own. He adores scent-marking by rubbing his head on everything, a sweet way of saying he belongs. Missing a few teeth but never light on heart or voice, Rooster is easy to find around the house—one call of his name and he'll reply with his distinct "I'm here!" Preferring the company of others, Rooster enjoys being near both people and other cats. He’s respectful of feline housemates and will patiently wait for them to warm up before extending his friendship. Given time, he's sure to be anyone’s best friend and a wonderful addition to your family. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
