About Ajax
Ajax is a 6-and-a-half-year-old mix of Greyhound, Pit Bull, and Shepherd looking for either a foster or forever home. He builds deep attachments to his person, so moving him into a new environment can take patience—but once he settles, he’s unwaveringly loyal. Ajax has a mix of energy: content to lounge but always ready to play or go for a run, especially if it means showing off those long legs and his mix of pittie face and shepherd ears. Toys are a big love for him. He’ll do best with an adopter or foster who already has dog experience and can give him structure, confidence, and continued basic obedience. He’s been adopted before but found his way back for being too bouncy; still, his loyalty stands out. Ajax generally gets along with most dogs but could also thrive as a solo dog. The vet’s office isn’t his favorite place—he needs a muzzle for visits. He’s housetrained and weighs about 57 lbs. Ajax is in Ventura, CA and can be transported to North Dakota if a great fit comes along. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
