This beauty queen is Grizabella! Grizabella is a sweet senior girl who came to FDHS alongside several other cats from a hoarding case. While some of the younger cats have adjusted a bit quicker, Griz is taking her time with all the new sights, sounds, and routines. It's a lot to take in, and this kind of environment can feel overwhelming for an older gal. Even so, she's remained super sweet and easy for staff to handle... you might just have to do a little searching to find her tucked away in her favorite hiding spot. We estimate Grizabella to be around 9-10 years old, and she's likely a mom or maybe even an auntie to some of the other cats she arrived with. She has a beautiful long white and grey coat that's already starting to look better now that she's in a clean environment with proper care. With time and consistency, she's only going to continue to flourish. Grizabella does have some dental issues, likely from the conditions she came from, so she's currently enjoying a steady diet of wet food... which she is more than happy about. It's easily the fastest way to win her over. She would do best in a quiet, patient home that understands she may need a little time to feel comfortable and come out of her shell.
