Salsa is a 2 ½-year-old male Terrier mix full of character, weighing around 12 pounds. He has a striking white wire coat and carries himself with confident Terrier flair. Salsa has a medium energy level and thrives with a regular routine that includes neighborhood walks and a predictable environment. He is house trained, crate trained, and comfortable on leash. While affectionate, Salsa does best as the only dog in the home due to resource guarding seen in previous foster placements. He is not suitable for homes with cats or with children under 13, but older, dog-savvy kids are okay. Salsa has spent time at a board and train with impressive progress; his new family will be supported with management tips specific to his behavior. Expect some shedding from this Terrier mix.
