About Rocky
Rocky is the kind of dog who really makes you wonder why he's still waiting for a home. Walking on a leash, he stays by your side and never pulls. He'll take treats from your hand with careful gentleness and strolls past barking dogs without giving them a second glance. During walks, Rocky keeps his attention on his person, calmly checking out other dogs and happily chasing after a ball. (He’s putting in the effort to learn fetch, so someday soon he’ll be a pro at bringing it back.) At about five years old and around 55–60 pounds, this terrier mix has soft, searching eyes and a naturally sweet, gentle energy. Rocky leans into people—sometimes literally—just to get closer, convinced he’s small enough to fit on any lap. He’s house-trained and easy to handle around the house. All Rocky wants is a steady, honest home that feels safe and predictable—nothing fancy, just real. He’s ready to start his next chapter. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
