Edward takes his time with new faces, both people and other animals. He prefers to play it safe at first, peeking out from his kennel and maybe offering a little hiss just to make sure everyone is on the level. But once you've had a proper introduction, Edward will start to soften, even accepting another cat as a companion. When he feels comfortable, those gentle scratches behind the ears bring out his affectionate side and he’ll rub up against your hand as if to say he’s approved you.
