About Gus

This could be the start of something paw-some. After losing the only home he's ever known due to a family medical emergency, Gus is learning how to start over, and it's not easy for him. He is very sensitive to change and will likely hide for a couple of weeks (or more) while he adjusts, so a patient adopter is a must. But once he feels safe? That's when you see the real Gus. He loves gentle pets, string toys, and will reward you with loud purrs and sweet head bunts when he's happy. He may give a small nip if he gets overstimulated—it's not aggression, just his way of communicating. Gus is looking for a calm, understanding home willing to give him the time he needs. If you're patient, the bond you build with him will be something really special. As a fun fact, Gus is a Leo, which means he's got the heart of a lion—expect big affection when he comes out of his shell! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
