Eight years old and still very much on the move Amiri is an older dog in age only. In real life, he's confident, social, and still has plenty of energy to burn. He's easy to get in and out of the kennel, enjoys people, and has a friendly, outgoing way about him. He's also got a little bit of pushy charm--he likes attention and isn't shy about asking for it. He's been described as calm and gentle, but he's not sleepy. Amiri likes to stay busy, pulls hard on leash when something catches his interest, and can jump up when he wants attention. He'll likely do best with someone who wants a mature dog without wanting a couch potato. Overall, Amiri comes across as a confident, personable dog with a lot of life left in him. He's a good reminder that older dogs aren't all the same.
