Meet Mia! Mia arrived at the shelter in February, a lost kitty nursing 4 little babies. She's been in a foster home and now that her babies are weaned she's ready for a home of her own! From her foster: Mia has a calm, patient and sweet demeaner. She has started to find her playful side within the last couple weeks now that she is off momma cat duty (hence Mia...Mamma Mia!). She loves chasing the "magic" red dot, and ball toys. She can be a little shy and if a hiss comes out, she is just unsure of something, but she doesn't mean anything by it. Do not let this deter you as she loves being brushed, petted and is good at making biscuits. She likes when people are around and likes to watch what is going on. She may sit on your lap for a few minutes or sleep by your legs in bed but is not yet convinced that a full cuddle session is her jam.
