Erin is no doubt a pretty girl. She is also smart! Erin is not a push over but rather the leader of the pack. Guessed to be around 3 years old and weighing in at 70 lbs, she has a healthy appetite for Life. Erin was picked up by Animal Control as a stray in Houston - cropped ears, docked tail and clearly a purebred red Doberman it's always shocking the great dogs that go through our shelters! Erin was not microchipped; sick and deteriorating so she needed a foster home and BARC asked us to intervene. Once Erin got out of the shelter, she perked up and showed familiarity with car rides and house manners. She is kennel trained, house trained and dog friendly. She was started on medication baths for bald spots and a skin infection along with oral antibiotics. Erin improved quickly both physically and psychologically. Erin is a smart, confident Doberman mama - she is gentle and sweet but will correct other dogs. She seeks out humans for attention and is learning basic commands quickly. Erin is now microchipped, spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention.
