Meet Sky ! She can be a bit nervous when meeting new people or adjusting to new environments, but once she knows you, her sweet personality really shines. With her family, Sky is incredibly affectionate and loving. She enjoys being close to her people and even likes to sleep in bed with them, making her a wonderful nighttime companion. She's done well with kids in the past and has experience living in a busy home. Sky has also lived with other cats and got along well with some of them, so she may be open to a feline friend with a slow and thoughtful introduction. She's also lived with dogs-while she preferred they respect her space (and would give a swat if they got too close), she was able to coexist successfully. Sky came to the shelter with her friend Tiny, who is also available for adoption. They could potentially go home together or separately, depending on the right match. Sky will thrive in a home that gives her time to settle in and build trust at her own pace. In return, she'll reward you with affection, companionship, and lots of cozy cuddles. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
