Meet Cookie Cookie is a 4-year-old pit bull who came to us as a stray. Although we were able to contact her previous owner, they chose not to reclaim her, so now she's ready for a fresh start with a family who will truly commit to her. According to her previous owner, Cookie may be dog aggressive and should be the only pet in the home. While we have not observed aggression here at the shelter, we recommend a home prepared to manage this possibility and provide proper structure. Staff have found Cookie to be approachable and relaxed, especially when you call her by name. She's a high-energy girl when excited and loves getting out for activity and attention. Cookie already knows how to sit on command and does well on leash, though she may pull a bit when eager. Cookie would thrive in a home that can give her exercise, consistency, and guidance, along with lots of love. She's looking for a committed adopter who will help her continue to succeed and provide her with a stable, structured environment
