About Tank
Tank is a gentle, affectionate cat who has had a long, contented life and is ready to find a new person for her twilight years. At seventeen, she can't quite leap into a lap by herself anymore, but she'll curl up contentedly if you give her a lift. She thrives on quiet evenings, loves being brushed and petted just about anywhere, and will even relax for rear claw trims. Tank was front declawed at some point, and she's easy to handle. She has lived with both dogs and other cats, but usually prefers the company of her people or spending time by herself. Loud noises sometimes startle her, but with age she's grown a bit bolder. Tank does well with respectful children and truly enjoys simply being close to someone who cares for her. Due to her age, Tank has a few health needs: she's managed hyperthyroidism with daily pills and prescription food, and her kidneys and heart need ongoing monitoring. She requires an adopter prepared to keep up with her medication and regular vet checks, but she's stable and sweet. Tank is in Forest, VA and is just waiting for a calm, devoted adopter to give her a soft place to land for her golden years. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
