About Alice
Alice has a striking coat in shades of grey, white, and fawn, paired with a lively, affectionate spirit. She’s curious, loves to cuddle, and doesn’t mind letting you know exactly how she feels—she’s pretty vocal. Alice has a playful, brave nature and will seek out affection once she’s settled, though she needs time to come out of her shell in new situations. She’s not at her best during meet and greets and will be shy until she feels secure. Despite her sweet temperament, Alice prefers life either as your only cat or with a very mellow feline housemate, since she’s often picked on by more dominant cats. Alice has been through a lot with her health, having extensive dental work and most of her teeth removed after a stomatitis diagnosis. She’s spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She’s house trained but may have accidents when anxious around other cats, so a calm environment suits her best. Alice gets along with gentle children and friendly dogs, but she needs a home within 20 miles of Chicago, IL, and her adopters must be willing to do a home visit and reference check. Give her the stability she deserves and she’ll open up in time. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
