About Cleo
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Cleo is a big, beautiful Saint Bernard still learning how to navigate the world after her life was turned upside down by the loss of her owner. She is searching for a patient and structured home where she can feel safe and supported as she adjusts. With people, Cleo is incredibly sweet and loves to soak up attention, though her enthusiasm sometimes gets the best of her—and she doesn’t always remember just how big and strong she is! Prospective adopters will need to be comfortable handling a large dog and dedicated to helping her develop good manners and impulse control through consistent training. While Cleo has gotten along well with her brother Atlas, her interactions with new dogs have been inconsistent. She can be a bit sassy and uncertain in new canine introductions, so she’ll need slow, thoughtful socialization and may do best either as an only dog or in a very experienced home willing to put in the work. Cleo is making good progress with crate training, travels well in the car, and is excited by new experiences, though at times the world can feel overwhelming for her. She adores being outside and has plenty of energy to burn. A dedicated, experienced adopter is a must for Cleo—she will thrive with someone who can provide consistency, guidance, and strong leadership. She’s not suited for homes with cats or small animals and will need a dog-savvy home with older children. Born on October 20th, Cleo is a Libra, known for her warm, social nature and desire for balanced companionship! What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Saint Bernards thrive in spacious homes with large yards where they have room to move and play. They do well in environments that offer both indoor comfort and opportunities for outdoor activity.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Saint Bernards benefit from access to a securely fenced yard where they can stretch out and explore. While they don't require hours of intense activity, ample outdoor space is recommended for their size and energy needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Generally, Saint Bernards are gentle giants and can be wonderful with children, especially older kids who understand how to behave around large dogs. Their size means supervision is recommended with small children.
