About Alex Loyal Companion

Meet Alex! - Don’t let his grumpy expression fool you—beneath that stoic exterior is a devoted shadow who’ll follow you everywhere. On the rare occasion that he meows, he has a rich baritone that’s impossible to ignore, and his expressive eyes clearly communicate his every wish. Alex has earned the right to a soft life. His arthritis means he prefers ground-level living where he can hunt toys and bask in sunbeams. He’ll still hop onto the couch for attention, and his soft, sweet side shines through when he flops for cheek and chest scratches. When he wakes up from a nap, he often seeks comfort with his person, purring contentedly on a lap or chest. His heated bed is his throne and on warm days loves sitting in our enclosed patio taking in the fresh air, so outdoor access or a patio would bring him pure joy. Alex is an FIV positive cat. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus weakens a cat's immune system, making them prone to secondary infections, but they can still live long, healthy lives with proper care like indoor living, good nutrition, and regular vet checkups; the virus spreads via deep bite wounds and isn't transmissible to humans or other pets. For any questions or to learn more, please reach out to us at bronxtailsrecords@gmail.com Ideal home: A patient, devoted human offering a quiet, mostly stair-free space where Alex is the only cat. He’d thrive with someone who works from home, and appreciates a loyal companion who can give this senior gentleman the comfort and security he deserves after his street days. We offer a two-week trial period to ensure the cat(s) is a good fit; if it doesn’t work out, we’ll retrieve the cat(s) and refund the adoption fee. We’re here to help with tips for introducing your new feline friend to other pets, if needed.
