About Yeti
Meet Yeti! It's not his eighty-pound frame that people remember first, but the way he stands—calm, white, regal, always looking out for a friend to greet. Yeti has this soft, patient way of watching you, hanging back until you invite him over, and then he erupts with affection, often jumping up for a giant bear hug the moment you give him attention. He greets you like a long-lost friend, genuinely happy for any connection. Yeti is a 3 1/2-year-old neutered male and a stunning Great Pyrenees mix. His fluffy white coat makes him even more striking, especially when he’s outdoors; this dog is happiest when the wind moves through his fur and birds are singing nearby. Still, for all his love of open spaces, Yeti doesn’t want to be apart from his people for long. He thrives in the company of humans and comes inside eager to settle by your side. He’d do well with a family with older kids and a large, fenced backyard. Yeti sometimes forgets how big he is, especially when handing out those famous hugs, so young kids might be overwhelmed. He handles female dogs very well and will coexist with non-alpha males, but he prefers not to be challenged. He’s sharp and still young at heart—ready to keep you laughing and loved every day.
