Agnes is an incredibly sweet girl who loves to proudly show off her favorite stuffed toys, often carrying them around in her mouth—which is absolutely adorable! She tends to get along well with most dogs, although she can be reactive while on leash. When gradually introduced off leash, especially with kind and appropriate dogs, she shows a playful side and real interest in making furry friends. Agnes especially loves the company of people and truly thrives when she's around them. It’s worth noting she seems to be wary of larger white dogs that remind her of a negative past encounter, so a thoughtful conversation will take place regarding this, but otherwise she enjoys most canine company. Agnes recently had quite the adventure, going on a holiday road trip to Florida, where she did amazingly well! Medically, Agnes had a cancerous tumor removed from her front leg in October 2025. Though the margins were not ideal, ongoing checkups every 3-4 months are scheduled to ensure her health and well-being, and any medical needs related to her leg will be fully covered by Bonaparte's Retreat. She's also successfully completed heartworm treatment. Despite her past health hurdles, Agnes is a dream to have in a home and will bring endless joy and love to her new family.
