Moose is currently participating in an intensive 9-week P.A.C.K. training program where he is mastering obedience, agility, and handling skills alongside a dedicated prison inmate trainer. He’s quickly learning commands such as 'sit', 'wave', and 'pray', and he'll be showcasing these tricks soon! New adopters should be prepared to regularly reinforce his new skills to ensure they last a lifetime. Moose is a well-rounded companion who has previously lived happily with cats, kids, and dogs, highlighting his friendly and social side. Full of zest and playful energy, Moose does best in a home with a large backyard or extra space for running and play—he gets adorable zoomies when outdoors! Because he can be noisy at times, a house with room to move suits him much better than an apartment. He prefers the great outdoors and may become nervous around loud indoor noises, but he feels comfortable and quiet in his kennel when left alone. Moose will need ample opportunities to burn off energy through walks, play, or hiking adventures, which will keep him happiest and healthiest.
