About Jacob
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Jacob! Currently participating in the esteemed P.A.C.K. Program, Jacob is receiving a thorough 9-week training regimen to master routine obedience, agility, and handling skills with the help of his dedicated trainer. He’s getting close to graduation and can already impress new people with commands like ‘sit,’ ‘wave,’ and ‘pray.’ Remember, PACK Program graduates benefit from regular, ongoing reinforcement of their new abilities, so consistency will be key to keeping him polished. Jacob has a knack for charming everyone he meets and isn’t shy to show off his superstar “sit” if there’s a treat or squeaky toy involved. He’s a fan of tough chew toys, relishing in the challenge, and brings joy wherever he goes. During his training, Jacob has truly shined—he’s social with other dogs, often joining in energetic play, though he follows direction well when he gets a bit exuberant. His recall is reliable, checking off one of the biggest wishes on any adopter’s list. Those soulful brown eyes of his will win you over in no time. When it comes to cats, Jacob is somewhat untested; he may be tempted to chase but could coexist peacefully with a dog-savvy cat and proper, gentle introductions. He’s already house trained and kennel trained, making the transition to a new home all the smoother. Jacob will officially graduate at the end of May, but you don’t have to wait until then to meet him—he’s ready for visits now! Jacob is a Cancer, which means he’s likely to be deeply affectionate and sensitive, making him a wonderful companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
