Meet Marcia! Marcia is a female, English bulldog, born April 2021! Marcia is a squishy, cuddly, silly, playful, hilariously stubborn (in only cute ways), affectionate and pushy with that affection on her humans and dog friends! This sweet girl is good with kids, dogs, and cats! She is just so kind and affectionate. She truly loves everyone she meets- people, cats, dogs, chickens, kids. She is mostly house trained, good with her leash manners, and working on her crate training! She is a typical bully- she can be silly stubborn, but only in the most innnocent ways (like stopping when she just doesn’t want to go any further on a walk). She absolutely adores children and is the most affectionate with them, including trying to get in their face for kisses (she listens if they tell her no, but she’d prefer if they said yes). She also has a ridiculous bark when she’s not getting her way- can’t really describe it, you have to hear it for yourself! So far it’s only come out when she wants out of her crate. Marcia is a certified good girl. Gentle heart, endlessly loyal. She’s a mix of Dough from Up! And Andy Dwyer from Parks and Rec- here for a good time, loving, cuddly, and sweet. You can’t help but laugh when this silly girl is around. Her zoomies are also top notch- not in speed, but in hilarity. She promises to follow you everywhere, kiss you as much as you’ll allow, and snore like a tiny tractor. She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, heartworm negative, spayed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of core vaccinations, microchip, along with the cost of her care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership.
