This "old man" still has plenty of love to give and is looking for a cozy home where he can enjoy his golden years at a relaxed pace. Wilbur is wonderfully low maintenance overall, though he does have some arthritis that will need ongoing care to keep him comfortable. He'd do best in a home without stairs, but he's perfectly willing to use a ramp if needed- he's a practical guy like that. In his kennel, Wilbur isn't shy about sharing his opinions- he's got a bit to say! But once he's out and about he settles into a calm, easygoing companion who's happy to just be by your side. He's great meeting new people and handles new faces like a true gentleman. Wilbur could happily share his home with another low-energy canine companion or be an only pooch, he really doesn't seem to mind either option. If you have room in your home for an old beefcake to spend his golden years and bring you joy- Wilbur is your guy.
