About Graham
Graham has proven to be a sweet and gentle companion once he feels secure. He started out timid, but quickly showed his affectionate side to his foster family. While Graham is submissive and gentle at home, he's more confident each day and responds well to a calm, reassuring environment. He’s perfectly house trained and lets you know when he needs to go outside, always taking care of business quickly. On leash, Graham walks well solo but can get a little excited around other dogs, especially on group walks or when he spots squirrels—his prey drive is manageable because of his size. He interacts wonderfully with other dogs in his foster home, backing away from potential conflicts rather than escalating them, though he's shown discomfort around a dog on a walk, so mindful introductions are best. Graham is cautious with strangers, especially when they enter the home, and can show nervousness with new people. He gives very clear signals if uncomfortable, so a home able to manage slow, positive introductions will help him blossom. He's sensitive to being pet on the head and can get nervous with a harness, but is never reactive—just wary. He’s highly food motivated and is thriving on soft food, though his teeth might benefit from a vet check. With a raspy bark and occasional reverse sneezing, Graham is monitored closely for any health issues. Once he feels safe, he bonds deeply and is loving at heart. Building his confidence will be key to helping him settle into a new home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
