About Spud
Meet Spud, a blocky-headed sweetheart whose spirit leaves an impression long before his looks. Found roaming the streets of Boonville, Spud was rumored to be a bit of a tough guy until our team showed up — the second he saw us, his guard melted. He trotted right over, tail wagging, soaking up every bit of kindness and treats we had to offer. Spud’s more about loving than living up to any reputation. He happily hopped into the car and acted like he’s been a road trip companion his whole life. At the shelter, he’s revealed himself as fun-loving and truly affectionate, always ready for a run in the yard, a good toy toss, or simply to curl up near people. He fits just as well in the office as in the play yard. For Spud, being close to people—any people—makes his day. This guy is the type who’ll welcome you home with a wiggly body and stay glued to your side. He gets along well with other dogs and children, bringing both energy and a gentleness that makes him easy to love. All Spud wants now is a home of his own and the chance to show off his brand of loyal, goofy, big-hearted affection. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
