About Teddy
Teddy is a small, spirited mix with a hefty dose of character for his 10 years. He’d do best with someone home much of the time—he thrives when he has company and consistent routines. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but isn’t strictly necessary if his person is reliable about leash walks and keeping an eye on him outdoors. Teddy weighs around 13 pounds, carrying it with all the pride of a dog twice his size. He gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, but his personality quirks mean any home with children should expect close supervision. Teddy takes protecting his person seriously; he’ll broadcast his devotion with loud theatrics if he feels someone’s getting too close while he’s snuggling. There are no bites, just noise and showmanship—then he’s all tail wags and back to normal. Mornings aren’t smooth without a round of belly rubs; skip them and he might grumble in protest, displaying his trademark grumpy wake-up face. Teddy needs an adopter who finds his antics endearing, not troublesome. Those who respect his boundaries and routines will discover a loving, one-of-a-kind companion.
