About Jax
Jax showed up near Symeron Rd and Apple Valley Rd in Apple Valley without a microchip and spent his first days at the shelter sized up as a large, neutered male about a year and a half old. Staff quickly noticed how friendly and calm he could be, even though he flips into high-energy mode when excitement hits. He weighs in around 65 pounds and sports a playful streak. On leash, Jax keeps his composure, but he cranks up the energy in the play yard—jumping up in excitement and greeting every dog he passes, even the ones barking at him. He’s outgoing, motivated by food, and doesn’t miss a beat when given a chance to interact. Jax is up to date on vaccines and ready for a home that can match his playful side and give him room to settle when needed. Give him a shot and you’ll see what a bit of good energy looks like in action. Your new best friend is just one click away.
