Dandelion (ACCT-A-247715) is a sweet, approximately 4-year-old spayed female dog who arrived as a stray on 4/14. She may be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience-and a few treats-her affectionate personality really shines through. Once she feels comfortable, Dandelion loves attention and connection. She can be a bit reluctant to return to her kennel, likely because she doesn't want to miss out on all the fun and companionship around her! Behavior notes: On 4/18 staff noted: "Strong, pulls hard." On 4/18 staff noted: "Interested in dogs through the fence. Sniffed and excited barked at them. Excited to go out. Pulls on leash a little. Jumped on handler a little in the yard. Happy to eat treats. Struggled to get her in kennel, needed lots of treats. On 4/17 volunteer noted: "She's a sweet girl, pulls mildly on leash when outside. When inside the kennels she will pull harder and put the breaks on when getting to her row." On 4/16 volunteer noted: "Excited to home out. Can pull when excited.
