Poseidon (ACCT-A-243302) came to ACCT Philly when his owner made the difficult decision to surrender him due to a lifestyle change and not having enough time to meet his needs. He was originally purchased from a breeder and has been with the same owner since he was just six weeks old. Poseidon has grown up as a beloved companion, described as a happy, playful, and loving dog who enjoys being around people and other dogs. Poseidon is a young, high-energy Husky who thrives on activity and engagement. He loves being outdoors, romping around, and showing off his playful side with toys and play bows. While he can be a bit strong on leash and eager to move, he shows a lot of potential and enthusiasm for learning. In the yard, he enjoys exploring and will occasionally check in for gentle affection, showing a more independent and curious personality. He has demonstrated friendly social behaviors with other dogs, offering loose, wiggly greetings and playful invitations. Poseidon would do best with an experienced adopter who can provide structure, continued training, and plenty of physical and mental enrichment to help him channel his energy in positive ways. Leash Skills: A little difficult to leash up as his head was towards the bottom of the kennel door and trying to push past. He does pull mildly on the leash. Sociability: Aloof. Spent alot of the time sniffing around the yard. I was able to do some light petting and he stood still then moved away. Will play bow to you and bounce away. Play: Romped around with a stuffy toy. Dog Interaction: Did not see any out on our walk. Return to Kennel: Went right into kennel, however tried to push back out. Recommend using the clip method.
