The name's Elvis, the most famous shelter dog you've never heard of. I say that because I've been here at ACS for almost 4 months now and nobody has been asking for me. I don't know why, I mean I think I'm a pretty great guy, I love people, going for walks, and of course I enjoy treats! I'm good with other dogs, I like kids, and I've got plenty of love and affection to give. I am working on all kinds of commands, learning when to "wait" and how to calm myself (I will get excited when I meet you). I'm not an expert when it comes to forever homes but I'm willing to work hard to learn what that means. If you've got some time and a little patience, I know I can be more than just a hound dog! I can be your forever friend and companion who will love you always. I'm Elvis and I'm ready to go from shelter to sidekick at a moment's notice. I'm hoping you'll stop in to see me soon.
