Bio for Aurora from Kaitlyn 04.29.26: Picky eater? No What food have you been feeding your foster? Victor Performance; Had her on puppy food but she would always try to eat with the big dogs. Plays with toys? So so She's slowly learning to play but still decompressing. Energy level? Medium to High. Every morning and evening she gets the zoomies with the big dogs. Afraid of certain people, sounds, objects? Yes timid with all people and VERY slow to warm up to men Good with children? Timid but does warm up to children Does well with company or would rather hide in a corner? Slowly warms up to company Where are they most comfortable...by you or on their own? Near me if I'm sitting or in bed. Introvert or extrovert? Introvert currently but I feel like she will be an extrovert the more she is around people. Food aggression? No Toy aggression? No People aggression? No Good with other dogs and what size and gender? Yes. Currently lives with my to German Shepherds (75+ lbs) and with my friends Mini Aussie Puppy and my neighbors Blue Healer. Good with cats? Unknown Potty trained? 85% has accidents 1-2 accidents a week Good with grooming i.e. baths, hair brushing, nail trimming? I have not bathed her. She's ok with brushing but again slow to warm up. Any health concerns? Not to my Knowledge Is your foster have any sensitive spots on their body where they don't like to be touched that we should note? NO just slow to warm up so hesitant to accept touch. Would your foster rather lay around or run around? Where is your foster on the cuddle scale? Do they like to be held or just lay next to you? Not currently a cuddler but likes to sit or lay close to me wherever I am. Indoors watching TV next to you Or outdoors playing ball? Enjoys both Fence climbing concerns? Unknown Does your foster require a fence? I currently keep her on a 30ft leash ( I normally just let it drag behind her) but she is following my big dogs around and slowly comes when called. Roams around my barn yard but stays close to me or my big dogs. Any nipping, if so, to what/when? No How is your foster at the vet? Unknown Have you done any traveling with your foster? She's ridden in the car well on multiple occasions Do you think he'd do well in a traveler's lifestyle, say with a trucker? Possibly if she can get out and run regularly Do you think your foster would do good in an apartment? Yes if she can get out and run/play regularly How does your foster do with car rides? Cautious at first but then well with encouragement Is your foster careful when exploring unfamiliar places? Very Careful but curious Is your foster a frequent barker, even at minor noises? No but barks when crated and away from "her People" Seems to be getting better with a routine and knowing she won't be left in the crate indefinitely Does your foster get under your feet a lot? Only when she know we are getting ready to head outside. How is leash training going? Does well on the leash but pulls back when scared. Needs to be coaxed to clip the leash on and off. Does not pull when leashed and walking How does your foster do on walks? Well Crate-training? Yes but does not yet walk into the crate willingly Chewier? Yes Does your foster prefer to stay close versus explore? Stays fairly close starting to adventure when outside in the yard. She barks initially when I crate her and walk out the door Does your foster appear happy playing on their own without your involvement?
