About Chopo
Chopo is a 3–4-year-old American Bully with a huge personality and a soft spot for cuddle time. Found in the woods near Poinciana, he’s come a long way and is looking for a home where he can finally relax and feel understood. Chopo is fully vetted—neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention—and knows his basics: he’s house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and knows his sit command. You’ll never have trouble when bath time rolls around, either; he’s a champ in the tub, especially if there’s a snuggle session after. Playful and energetic, Chopo sometimes gets a bit hyper, but his enthusiasm is contagious. He’s terrific with kids and thrives when surrounded by his people. For other dogs, he needs slow introductions and can be nervous, sometimes guarding food or toys, so he’s best suited as an only pet or with someone experienced in dog behavior and management. Marking indoors can happen, especially if he smells another male, so structure will help. He’s shown curiosity about cats but hasn’t been fully tested with them. Chopo has overcome some eye issues with surgery, and he’s healthy now, ready to give his heart to someone patient and willing to set clear boundaries. If you offer structure and love, he’ll give you endless loyalty in return. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
