About Sam
Meet Sam, a small black cat with a growing fondness for sunny window seats and gentle head scratches. Sam didn’t have the smoothest start—she spent much of her life outdoors until a hurricane pushed her into rescue. Since then, she’s learned that life indoors has its perks: soft beds, quiet corners, and the company of kind people willing to give her space. Sam can be a bit cautious at first, but her gentle side shows through once she feels secure. Her mostly toothless grin and tiny vampire fangs give her a quirky, endearing look that sets her apart. Sam is in good health, fully vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She peacefully shares space with other cats and would likely settle best into a quiet home, especially one without rambunctious dogs. Sam is slowly opening up and makes progress each day. She’ll need a patient adopter who respects her need for calm and isn’t bothered if she keeps to herself sometimes. In the right home, Sam is sure to flourish into a loyal, relaxed companion.
