Amy had a rough start in life—born on the streets of San Antonio with her eight siblings and a feral mother who had survived on her own for a long time. Thankfully, Amy and her family made it to safety, and now she's blossomed into a healthy, thriving young dog. Amy is playful, sweet, and absolutely loves people. While she might be a little shy when first meeting someone, with just a little time, she transforms into a joyful companion eager for play. As of late February 2025, she weighed 11.6 pounds, and she's expected to reach around 45 pounds as an adult. Amy is searching for her forever home where she can share her affectionate spirit. She is currently located in Texas but is available for transport to a variety of northern and eastern U.S. cities for approved adopters (excluding Rhode Island and Massachusetts due to regulations).
