About Bonnie
Bonnie is a sweet, initially reserved small Maltipoo, about three years old. She needs a couple days to get comfortable in new surroundings, but once settled, she’s easygoing and blends right into the daily routine. Bonnie currently lives in a foster home with both adult and teenage humans, plus several dogs—her best friend is a little Terrier mix named Kimbo. She gets along well with all the dogs in the home. She’s housebroken and knows how to use potty pads, though she’s learning to go outside on grass and is picking it up quickly by following the lead of other dogs. Bonnie loves to hang out in the backyard, so she really needs a securely fenced yard and isn’t ideal for apartment or condo living due to her tendency to bark. A calm home with another dog for company will help her thrive. Bonnie wasn’t socialized as a puppy, so she’s shy with new people and needs slow introductions. With a gentle approach and some patience, she comes out of her shell and becomes sweet and friendly. She enjoys going for walks but may react nervously to new people, so ongoing positive experiences and gentle training are important. Bonnie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for her new family. Your new best friend is just one click away.
