About Stella

Stella is an 11-year-old alumna of A Better Life Animal Rescue, adopted as a puppy in 2014. Her lifelong companion can no longer care for her due to health reasons, so Stella needs a new foster home while her future is sorted out. She’s been treated as a true member of the family and you can feel it in how she behaves—house, leash, and crate training all dialed in. At about 50 lbs, Stella’s a medium-size Border Collie/Labrador mix with a glossy short black and white coat. She’s still lively for her age, especially when it comes to squeaky toys and outdoor play. Stella’s gotten along well with dog-friendly dogs, but does not do well with cats. She’s used to a fenced yard but is fine with leash walks too. Her personality is sweet and loving, and she’s used to sticking close to her people. Foster or adoption homes are considered within about 75 miles of Morganton, NC.
