Pita is a pretty calico from Kuwait, where she was found outside when she was a tiny kitten. Her eye needed to be removed because of a severe infection which can occur in kittens with immature immune systems. Pita was not well socialized with humans but her foster can pick her up to move her if she is hogging another cat's food at mealtime. She would make a good cat for another cat, or for an adopter that wants to have a cat in the house but would prefer one that does her own thing instead of always trying to get attention from humans. She loves exploring new things and will jump into new boxes or hideaway beds, and even cat carriers. Because Pita is sensitive to being handled she would do best in a home with adults only. She is fascinated by outdoor scenes and is neutral towards he foster's large dog. Pita is a petite kitty and likes sleeping in the sun, catnip, and playing with teaser toys and springs and balls. Her estimated birth date is June 15, 2024. She has been spayed, vaccinated against distemper and rabies, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She likes eating dry and wet food.
