Pita Saveasoul is a brown and white Domestic Short Hair, medium-sized, spayed female cat living in Merrifield, VA. At about 1 year and 11 months old, she is up to date on vaccines and enjoys both dry and wet food. While she is not suited to homes with children, she gets along with other cats and is neutral with dogs, making her a good choice for adult adopters seeking a feline companion with an independent streak.

About Pita Saveasoul

Pita Saveasoul is a petite calico originally from Kuwait, rescued as a kitten after being found alone with a serious eye infection that led to the loss of one eye. She was not well socialized early on, so she's grown into a cat who prefers her own company and the company of other cats over constant human interaction. Her foster is able to pick her up when necessary, especially at mealtime, but Pita does best when left to her independent ways. She's curious and will investigate every new box, hideaway, or carrier you bring into the house. Watching the world out the window is a favorite pastime, and she is unfazed by the presence of large dogs. Pita would do well in an adult-only home, either as a companion for another feline or for an adopter who appreciates a low-maintenance cat. She enjoys naps in sunny spots, catnip, and lively play with teaser toys, balls, and springs. Her estimated birthday is June 15, 2024, making her a Gemini—curious, adventurous, and always exploring. Pita is spayed, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and eats both dry and wet food. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
