About Scooter Fersch

Scooter Fersch and his brother Rascal are a bonded pair looking for a calm, cat-savvy home without dogs or young children. These orange tabby boys have grown up together in foster care, and thrive in environments where they can play, climb a good cat tower, and have interactive playtime—especially that feather wand. They adore each other and get along well with other cats, but they're wary of new people and need someone experienced with cats who understands the slow process of earning trust. Expect some cautiousness at first; with time and patience, Scooter Fersch appreciates affection and will eventually warm up. Their routines are well established—open, high-sided boxes with unscented litter and a preference for reliable meals of Purina Pro Plan and Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers keep them content. Both are neutered, tested negative for FiV/FeLV, and fully vaccinated. Scooter Fersch is only available for adoption with Rascal, and only to experienced owners in the Northern VA/DC/MD area—college students aren’t eligible for this duo.
