Kromka (Polish for "slice of bread") is equal parts athlete, comedian, and cuddlebug. A former stray turned indoor adventurer, he found his way to safety during a winter ice storm. If you're looking for a cat with big personality, he's your guy. He's incredibly energetic and playful, with a love for catnip toys and feather wands. He can turn any room into his personal racetrack. His signature move? Sprinting at full speed and adorably drifting around corners like a tiny race car still learning the brakes. He's also wonderfully expressive and will chat to let you know what's on his mind (usually snacks or playtime). Things he loves: Churu bite treats & Sheba sticks (his absolute weakness), having the little spot on his forehead in between his eyes rubbed, supervising meal prep like a dedicated kitchen assistant, zooming around and being goofy. He thrives on activity and would do best in a home that can match his energy - either with other playful, outgoing cats or as a solo pet where he can soak up all the attention. While his rescue family loves him dearly, their senior cats just can't keep up with his zest for life. Kromka is negative for feline leukemia but positive for FIV, which means that he has a weakened immune system. FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives indoors. The FIV virus is transmitted to other cats through a penetrating bite wound. Cats that are not aggressive are not at risk to contract FIV from him. He can safely live with other friendly cats, especially in a stable, low-conflict environment. Kromka is neutered, current on vaccines, and micro chipped.
