About Spot
Meet Spot, a 75 lb Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix who brings a whole lot of personality to the table. With a curly white-and-tan coat and a playful glint in his eye, Spot is full of energy and love—just as much as he is of stubbornness. He'll claim your spot on the couch, demand your attention, and keep you on your toes, but he'll also show his affection in big, goofy ways. Spot thrives on water play, long walks, and truly believes he is head of household. Herding is in his blood, and he’ll do his best to keep everyone ‘in line.’ Spot needs a home with a fenced backyard where he can burn off steam and a large dog buddy who can keep up with his high spirits. He’s happiest with someone who understands big, headstrong dogs and isn’t thrown by independent antics. Spot gets along with children and other dogs but needs an owner who won’t let him run the show. He’s a lovable troublemaker who keeps life anything but dull. For someone looking for a smart, loyal, sometimes exasperating but always entertaining companion, Spot could be just the right fit. As a Taurus, Spot takes his routines and comforts seriously—you’ll see that bullheaded streak when he digs in his heels, but under it all, he’s deeply loyal and eager to bond with his people.
