About Ivy

Ivy is still settling in after four months moving between the shelter and boarding, so everything new feels a little unnerving for her. She spends her days decompressing with her foster mom, often curled up in bed in quiet comfort. When Ivy listens, she tips her head with real focus, clearly tuned in and soaking up attention. At home, she’s gentle and affectionate with her foster parents, enjoying plenty of cuddle time and always making sure there’s room for everyone. Her toy of choice is a big stuffed animal with a squeaker—she’s still figuring out what the deal is with balls. Out in public, she gets anxious and shy around new people, often just sitting still and shaking, but she never shows any aggression. Her foster mom brings her to work each day to expose her to more people, giving her plenty of encouragement (and treats) to help her slowly build confidence. Ivy is fully house trained, sweet-natured, and ready for a family willing to give her the patience and love she needs to blossom. She gets along with dogs, cats, and children. Give Ivy the chance to show what a loyal, loving companion she can be. Click apply to start the adoption process.
