About Petunia
Petunia is a sharp, sassy pup who always keeps an eye on the action. She’s a 4-month-old pit bull terrier/shih tzu mix—already house and crate trained, and she’ll let you know when she’s ready to go outside. Once she’s in the yard, she’s busy chasing whatever scurries by or scouting for worms, never missing a moment of fun. Petunia lives with other dogs and loves to play rough and tumble with her canine siblings, though she fits best either as an only dog or with medium to large dogs; smaller dogs or very young kids might find her energy a little much. Leash training is underway, and she enjoys outings as much as a cozy nap after. She’s calm and measured around new people, soaking in the world like a pro observer. Vaccines are current and she’s spayed, so you’re starting with a healthy, happy pup. Petunia is ready for the next chapter—and a family to share it with. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.

Questions about Petunia
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Petunia is a pit bull terrier/shih tzu mix and typically does well in homes with space to play and explore. A yard is a plus but she can adapt well to active households with regular outdoor time.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A medium-sized breed mix like Petunia will benefit from a securely fenced yard but can be content with daily walks and regular outings if outdoor space is limited. She enjoys exploring and needs regular exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Petunia can do well with children, although her playful energy may be better matched to older kids rather than toddlers. Supervision is recommended, especially with very young children.
